Mission
The Mission of the Case Histories Journal is:
Areas of Interest
The “International Journal of Geoengineering Case Histories” covers the broad area of practice in geoengineering. Particularly, topics related to the following Areas are of interest:
Papers on well-documented case histories with emphasis on observations and data collected during and after project construction are invited. Accepted manuscripts are published online and in print.
Below are some of the many reasons for publishing in the ISSMGE International Journal and Database of Geoengineering Case Histories:
The Case Histories Journal has a number of features that make it unique:
In 2011, the ISSMGE has established an Award to recognize the most Outstanding Case History Paper published in the International Journal of Geoengineering Case Histories. The award is bestowed every four years during the International Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ICSMGE). The award is selected by the Editorial Board Members of the journal. All papers published in the journal during the previous four years are candidates for the award.
